

FLOR TRIGUEROS: Flor Lopez was born in Guatemala and came to the United States 14 years ago. She came to the United States to escape violence and oppression in Guatemala and start a family with her husband. She is committed to working for her community for social justice, and has worked with various social justice and human rights groups in Providence. She believes that people's personal stories and testimonies are essential achieving justice and rights for all people. At ONA, Flor coordinates the Red de Defensa, community outreach, and membership development.

SUSAN BEATY: Susan Beaty was born and raised in Connecticut, and has been living and organizing in Providence since 2006. She first became involved with ONA as a student organizer at Brown University in 2007, and has been a proud member ever since. As an ONA staff person, she co-coordinates the We Are All Arizona Coalition and is the main contact person between ONA and community allies.

ADAN SALES: Adan Sales was born in Guatemala and immigrated to the United States 10 years ago to help support his family. He was involved with social justice movement and the huelgas estudiantiles (student movement) in Guatemala for over ten years. After arriving in Providence, he became involved with English for Action (EFA) and joined the Action Committee. Now, as a member of the ONA staff, he co-coordinates the We Are All Arizona Coalition and the Red de Defensa and coordinates grassroots fundraising.
